Dear Guests
After our company holidays, there will be an important change at Restaurant Lemon: we will be discontinuing our lunch service and will no longer be open during lunchtime.
This decision was not an easy one for us. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of welcoming many regular guests, employees from nearby businesses, and many new faces for lunch.
However, the restaurant industry, and lunchtime dining in particular, has changed significantly in recent years. Rising staff, food and operating costs have been accompanied by major changes in people's eating habits. Many people today have less time for a traditional sit down lunch, increasingly choose take away options, snack bars or supermarkets, and are more conscious of how much they spend on their daily lunch.
We are not alone in experiencing these changes. Many other restaurants in the area have also reduced or discontinued their lunch service.
For a long time, we have tried to maintain our lunch service and continue offering our guests a varied selection of meals together with personal service. However, there comes a point when we have to accept that the effort and costs involved are no longer in a reasonable proportion to the demand. We have now reached that point.
For this reason, we have decided to focus our energy and resources on our evening service and our other offers.
In the evenings, we will of course continue to welcome you with the same passion, hospitality and enthusiasm you know from Restaurant Lemon.
A very special thank you goes to our loyal lunchtime guests, some of whom have been visiting us regularly for many years. We are truly sorry that we will no longer be able to welcome you for lunch.
Thank you for your loyalty, your understanding and for all the lunches we have shared over the years.
